The weather has been causing a few problems on the roads this morning with trees down and icy conditions.
Sleet and hail have been falling causing the higher roads to become slushy and icy - police tweeted at 5.30am that accidents had already started to occur around Richmond Hill.
Gritters have now been around but officers are still urging everyone to drive to the conditions with care and caution.
A tree has been blown down and is blocking both carriageways on Scollag Road on the Onchan side - police say it might be down for some time due to other calls being attended.
