A driver who sparked a number of 999 calls from other motorists was nearly four times over the drink drive limit.
Barry Baker of Murrays Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 39 year old admitted drink driving on Peel Road in Douglas on March 16.
Motorists reported a car weaving across the road, and mounting a pavement before it crashed.
He was ordered to do 180 hours community service, banned from driving for five years and ordered to pay £125 costs.
