A drink-driver from Colby has been banned from the roads for two years.
Susan Christian Neal of Croit Ny Glionney appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 33-year-old admitted one count of drink driving on Glen Road in Colby on August 22.
Prosecutor, Barry Swain told the hearing police were called to a crash shortly after 1am and Neal, who was obviously drunk, told officers she had been driving her Nissan Qashqai.
The court heard she had been out for a meal with her husband but became emotional leaving her home and getting behind the wheel despite being almost twice the legal alcohol limit.
Mrs Hughes fined her £800, ordered her to pay £125 in costs and banned her from driving for two years.
She will also have to pass an extended test before she gets her licence back.
