A man's been banned from the roads after he was spotted getting into his car after drinking in a pub.
56 year old Ian Johnson of Sea Cliff Road in Onchan admitted drink-driving when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told he'd been spotted leaving the Manor pub in Willaston in his car - he later turned out to be more than one and a half times the legal limit.
Magistrates fined him £2,000, banned him from driving for two years and ordered him to pay £125 costs.
