A driver caught over the limit for the second time in four years has been banned from the roads.
37-year-old Gary Jonathon Pownall of Prince's Street in Douglas was arrested and found to be more than twice the legal limit on May 27.
The court heard he only held a provisional licence and wasn't supervised at the time - and had been banned for three years in 2020 after drink-driving.
Pownall admitted drink-driving, having no licence or insurance, and having a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
Magistrates banned him for five years and put him on probation for 18 months - he'll have to pass an extended test and do a rehabilitation course before he can get his licence back.
