Dr Dirk Hoehmann was remanded back into custody today following another court appearance.
Dr Dirk was the Island’s Ear Nose and Throat specialist at Nobles, he stands accused of failing to declare 44 offences of fraud committed during his time in Germany.
He left the country with these offences outstanding.
As he failed to declare this during his interview it subsequently meant he obtained £736,000 by deception from the former Department of Health and Social Security.
He’ll appear back in court on 18th January.
