A Douglas woman has been cleared after being accused of committing sexual offences against a child.
53-year-old Karen Evans stood trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse last week.
She'd been accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a child and gross indecency with a child under the age of 16 between October 1998 and 1999.
However the jury at the trial found Ms Evans not guilty of all offences and she was aquitted accordingly.
