Douglas Sea Terminal could be going green, if planners approve a new planning application.
The Department of Infrastructure is asking permission to put an electric vehicle charging point in the car park outside the building's main entrance.
The space closes to the marshalling area on the south side of the terminal would be reserved for electric vehicles.
The 50 kilowatt charger would allow owners to top up their vehicle.
