If you've noticed anything different along Douglas promenade recently it'll be the art work by some of the Island's school children.
A competition was launched for Douglas students to create a design for replacement lamppost banners along the promenade in Douglas..
It had to have a sporting and Manx heritage theme in time for the Commonwealth Youth Games where 71 nations will descend on the Isle of Man.
The winning entries were from Ballakermeen students Joy Godwin, Saskia Caley and Megan Rossiter who are all just 13 year old.
They said they can't believe their art is on display for thousands of people to see.

The banners will be displayed every summer for the next 7 or 8 years.
