A restaurant in Douglas says it will be closed temporarily after a fire broke out yesterday evening.
Alessandro's on Castle Street says the fire started there after they'd closed on Monday night - the business says everyone is safe but there is some damage to its back room.
The team there adds they'll be doing their best to get things back in shape with hopes to open again soon but for the time being the venue will have to remain shut.
The team is also thanking the Island's Fire and Rescue Service for its swift response to the incident.
