Britain in Bloom Judges to Hit Island Next Monday
The Manx Public are being asked for their co-operation over the next week in the build up to the arrival of the Britain in Bloom judges.
Douglas is representing the Island for Britain in Bloom, looking to go one better on the current best of Silver and take the Gold this year.
The judges will get here a week on Monday and will be scrutinising every aspect of how the town is looking so homeowners are asked to ensure their gardens are maintained to a high standard.
If Douglas were to get the Gold it would have very positive knock ons in terms of marketing the Island to tourists.
Councillor David Christian is urging the public to make sure they play their part and have pride in their town.
