The Department of Infrastructure has announced major roadworks on Douglas Promenade later this month.
Work to resurface the prom will start on November 18 on the stretch of road between Castlemona Avenue to the Palace Cinema.
Then from November 26 to December 4 it's the turn of the section between the Palace cinema and Summerhill to be resurfaced.
A 10mph speed limit will be in place during the work, and parking suspended on both sides of the road.
