The Mayor of Douglas will launch the Island's Royal British Legion poppy appeal this weekend.
Jon Joughin will launch the appeal at 11am on Saturday, October 24.
In a change to previous years’ proceedings and to comply with Covid-19 risk management guidelines, the event will take place outside Douglas town hall.
This year's Remembrance Sunday service will take place on Sunday, November 8 in Douglas.
