An alleged shoplifter who’s said to have targeted stores in the Island’s capital has been bailed.
Steven Paul Menton of Loch Promenade in Douglas appeared at Douglas Courthouse before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
He’s facing three charges of theft – two at Dealz on May 20 and 23, and one at Sports Direct on December 17.
36 year old Mr Menton hasn’t yet entered pleas to any of the allegations, and his advocate Ian Kermode asked for an adjournment to examine CCTV evidence.
Mrs Hughes bailed Mr Menton in the sum of £500, and he’ll appear again on June 18.
