A Douglas man’s appeared in court, accused of taking part in a late-night street fight that left a man unconscious.
Ethan Lamb of Close Quirk appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith at Douglas Courthouse.
The 21 year old denies causing grievous bodily harm just after 1am on June 21 in Duke Street in Douglas.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the hearing Lamb was out with a group of friends who’d been drinking in 1886 nightclub before getting into a fight with another group after leaving the club.
The court heard his alleged victim was left with head injuries, including two fractures to his jaw, after the incident outside Marks & Spencer.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t contact witnesses in the case, and will appear in court again on January 7.
