Douglas man denies alcohol thefts from stores

A man accused of stealing alcohol from shops in Union Mills and Port Erin will appear in court again in August.

Stephen Gerrard Arrowsmith of Taubman Terrace in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.

The 40 year old denies stealing rose champagne from Shoprite on November 2 last year, and cider and wine from the Union Mills Spar store on February 9, 11 and 22 and March 3.

He was bailed in the sum of £500 and will appear again at a pre-trial review hearing on August 20.
