The heart of Douglas will be lit up with festive cheer from later today.
The annual Christmas lights switch-on in the capital takes place tonight in the new location on North Quay.
Entertainment begins at 6.15pm with the Douglas Town Band, followed by performers from the cast of Peter Pan and then The Platform Theatre School Vocal Ensemble before the big switch-on at 7pm.
Meanwhile, Douglas Borough Council has announced there will be free parking at Shaw's Brow, the Bottleneck, Chester Street, Parade Street and The Tongue between 5pm and 10pm.
