Lifeboat volunteers came to the aid of a stranded vessel earlier this week in the East of the Island.
The Douglas RNLI Volunteer Crew were called at 8:14pm on Monday, June 4, to rescue a 25-foot yacht suffering with engine failure.
The one person on board the yacht was sailing from Whitehaven to Douglas before having to radio in for assistance from crews.
It was towed back safely to Douglas Harbour, no-one was injured during the incident.
