Firefighters were mobilised after a fire broke out at a house in Douglas last night.
Teams were called out at around 6.15pm on Sunday to a property on Victoria Terrace and on arrival confirmed all of the occupants had already evacuated.
Crews discovered the source of the flames to be coming from a bedroom and were able to neutralize the blaze using a hose reel and CO2 extinguisher.
Emergency services then checked the area for hot spots with thermal imaging cameras before being able ventilate the smoke from the home.
