The Promenade Medical Centre - which has more than 4,000 patients took to social media to confirm the news.
In a post it says it's with 'great sadness' the partners announce the practice is likely to close in the next few months.
It's due to a shortage of doctors - the practice says it has no alternative but to shut.
Despite working with the Department of Health and Social Care, the department has been unable to address the underlying causes of recruitment difficulties.
The practice states its priority remains the care of its patients and they will receive a letter explaining the situation.
