Firefighters say smoke alarms alerted householders in Douglas to a fire yesterday.
A 3.15pm, crews were called to Albany Street after fire broke out in a first floor bedroom.
Two people evacuated safely and were checked over by ambulance staff.
The Fire and Rescue Service says it's investigating what caused the fire.
