A temporary school crossing patrol will be in place in Douglas from today.
Based at Woodbourne Road, near the junction with York Road the crossingb it'll operate in both the morning and afternoon.
It'll run in two 30 minute blocks - 8.30 till 9am, and 3.10 until 3.40pm whilst road works take place.
Police are warning motorists to drive carefully in this area, and be prepared to stop.
Officers say failture to do so could result in a hefty penalty of £120 and three points on your driving license.
