A Douglas City councillor has stepped down with immediate effect.
Mark Wheeler was elected to represent the Central Ward on May 1, 2025.
In a statement from Douglas City Council, it says Mr Wheeler has taken the decision to step away from the role and it wishes him well for the future.
It adds arrangements for a by-election for the Central Ward will be announced soon.
