Douglas Council wants to get to the root of disappearing trees

Trees in Glen Falcon Rose Garden

Douglas Council is appealing for information after the disappearance of two trees from the Glen Falcon Rose Garden.

The two laburnum trees were approximately seven-years old and had reached around eight feet in height.

Traces of yellow saw dust - typical of laburnum wood - were found at the site and the trees were removed with their roots attached.

Witnesses are asked to contact the parks section on 696330.
