Douglas Council has agreed to look into live streaming its public meetings.
Currently only Ramsey Town Commissioners broadcasts its meetings through Facebook live.
Douglas is also going to be looking at allowing members to attend council remotely, which was the case during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Previously it has live streamed meetings through Facebook but says a number of ‘issues’ were found including the sound quality of microphones and trailing cables for cameras.
The authority says its reason for introducing the policy is to make it easier for councillors to attend remotely if they have a ‘legitimate’ reason.
