A 14-year-old boy from Douglas will take on a near 200-mile walk next month looking to raise thousands for a Manx charity.
Jake Hodgson will take on the Coast-to-Coast walk in the UK from July 21, and is aiming to raise nearly £15,000 for Rebecca House Childrens Hospice.
It isn't the first time the teenager has taken on a challenge like this - last year Jake covered 102 miles around the Isle of Man in aid of the same charity raising £7,150.
The Coast-to-Coast Challenge stretches from the coast of the Irish sea at St Bees in Cumbria and finishes on the shores of the North Sea at Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire.
Details of his challenge and how to donate are available on his JustGiving page.
