The Douglas Borough Council has taken another step forward in the regeneration of the town.
The Council have invested in a new piece of machinery that will help keep the streets clean, specialising in removing gum.
Douglas is the first local authority across the UK to get the equipment.
Due to the size and easy to use nature of the Gum Clear unit it’s thought it will be able to provide a rapid response to litter hotspots around the town.
