An historic façade on Douglas promenade will be getting repairs and a facelift, if planners give the go-ahead.
The company which manages Spectrum Apartments on Central Promenade has applied for registered building consent to carry out the work.
The original building's cinema façade dates back to around 1900, and it's illegal to carry out the work without permission.
The management company, based in the building, says it wants to clean and repair the tiles front which faces onto the prom.
