A dog stuck in Douglas harbour sparked a response from the emergency services last night.
Douglas coastguards were called after a member of the public spotted the animal in distress.
The dog was rescued by nearby boats.
Coastguard officers were called out again a short time later when someone reported a bodyboarder was getting lost in the mist - however, they managed to find their own way back to shore.
