An Island charity is asking people to avoid trimming hedges, banks and verges now nesting season is underway.
The season started on Saturday, March 1 and runs until August 31.
On Facebook the Manx SCPA says the public should only do trimming work if there's a safety risk.
It also says people should stick to the paths and keep dogs on leads near protected areas, as well as avoid using drones which could disturb birds.
