IOM Post Office is advising people not to send mail to international destinations due to significant delays.
It comes after the organisation announced yesterday it's suspended all postal services to Europe (excluding Republic of Ireland) as well as Turkey and Canada.
The restrictions have come in due to worldwide concerns over the spread of the new strain fo Covid-19 which is impacting mail transport.
The postal service adds it's unclear at this time how long the disruption will go on, but says it will keep customers updated via its website and social media channels.
