Police are warning people not to let scammers pressurise them.
It comes following reports of an older gentleman who received a call from someone stating they were from Barclays Bank and wanted to know his bank details.
Officers say to remember - you're in charge of the conversation, and don't feel you need to act quickly.
They add to not give out bank or personal details and if you're suspicious to end the call.
