Police are warning motorists in Ramsey not to ignore one-way signs buring roadworks in the town.
Bowring Road is shut from North Shore Road to Windsor Road until 6pm on Saturday for telecommunications work.
But officers say some drivers have chosen to cut through Windsor Mount - travelling against the one-way system there.
They took to Twitter to warn anyone caught doing so will be dealt with.
Due to the current roadworks at Bowring Road, Ramsey, we are having multiple reports of vehicles travelling the wrong way on Windsor Mount. This is a one way street with clearly marked No Entry signs. Police will be taking robust action against these drivers.
