Photographers and wildlife watchers are being reminded to give wildlife space.
The Manx Wildlife Trust has received a number of reports recently about barn owls and grey seals being disturbed.
The organisation says a simple rule of thumb is that if your actions cause the animal's behaviour to change in any way, then you should stop and slowly back away.
It adds that disturbing owls and seals while they're trying to find food or rest could make their lives harder.
