Police say you shouldn't worry if you spot armed police out in the Island's countryside later today.
On Facebook the Isle of Man Constabulary says officers from the firearms unit will be training in the South of the Island this afternoon.
They'll be practicing searches across open countryside - but it's just a training exercise.
Police say members of the public shouldn't be alarmed.
