A St John's man charged with causing death by dangerous driving on the Tholt-y-Will Road has appeared back in court today.
30-year-old Donovan Kitching has been charged with five offences - the most serious of which is causing the death of 62-year-old Gwen Valentine on the 26th of April.
He also faces charges of driving whilst disqualified, possession of drugs, driving without insurance and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
Kitching had his application for bail denied with the Deputy High Bailiff stating she would not be satisfied he would adhere to his bail conditions.
He will appear back in court on the 10th of July.
