That's the question on the lips of MLC Kate Lord-Brennan, who will raise the issue with Home affairs Minister Bill Malarkey in Tynwald next week.
She wants to know what the minister will do to improve how domestic violence cases are handled.
Her question comes just weeks after campaigners, hoping to toughen up the Island's laws on the issue hosted a flash mob in Douglas to raise awareness.
