Since new Domestic Abuse legislation was introduced last month, the courts and police have been using their new powers.
Three Domestic Abuse Protection Notices have been issued, which stops a person from entering or returning to a residence.
Further, one Domestic Abuse Protection Order has been issued by Police, which is done at the scene if they believe there is an ongoing risk to the victim.
