Part of the TT course is due to close today as preparations get underway for the festival next month.
The Department of Infrastructure says it'll be carrying out work between Ballig Bridge and Douglas Road Corner.
The route will shut between 9.15am and 4pm each day this week.
DOI workers will be improving drainage, patching the road surface and cutting hedges.
Advance Notice Road Closure - A3 Ballig Bridge to Douglas Road corner will be closed 16th to 20th April daily 09.15 to 16.00 hours.

Access will be maintained for buses, HGV's, Emergency vehicles and properties.
An alternative route will be via the A4 Peel Coast Road.
