The Department of Infrastructure says it is working to re-open the Mountain Road as quickly as it can.
The road has been shut since Friday due to heavy snowfall.
Workers will be deployed onto the Mountain this morning to try and get it open however it still has significant amounts of snow on it.
There's drifts of over one metre and snowfall between 200mm and 300mm in places.
Elsewhere conditions have been described as tricky in and around Foxdale, from Ballacraine through to Creg Willey's and a little bit of slush around St Johns past Station Road.
The Brandywell Road, Sulby Glen Road, Beinn-y-Phott Road, and Injebreck will also all remain closed until at least 5pm today.
