The speed limit on Shore Road has been reduced from 40mph to 10mph, and cars can no longer park on either side of the Main Road in Ballabeg.
That's two changes the Department of Infrastrucure has confirmed, following major delays in the South of the Island.
The congestion has been caused by a one-way system on the A5 between Fisher's Hill and Kentraugh Mill Road in Gansey, which runs until later this month.
The DOI says its suspending parking between Friary Park and the Three Roads on Duck Street to address delays, affected residents have received letters and the area is coned.
However, the department has confirmed the one-way system will remain in place.
