The Department of Infrastructure is currently gritting the Island's primary routes ahead of further icy conditions later today.
Staff in the department fielded approximately 360 calls for assistance from the public over the weekend due to the weather.
The Government Adverse Weather Group says to take care when travelling this evening and tomorrow morning, and use the primary gritted routes where possible.
Roadside salt bins can also be used by residents to reduce the risk of slipping in estates or non-primary routes.
More information on gritted roads can be found here.
