The Department of Infrastructure says it doesn't know the total cost of a cycle lane on Cooil Road in Braddan - because a private developer is paying for it.
A Freedom of Information request asked for the total cost of the project as well as its environmental benefits.
But the DOI says it doesn't hold the information.
In its response it says the cycle path would be provided by a private developer as part of road improvements for a nearby development.
