The Island's infrastructure minister says her department can't monitor every car with a parking permit.
In the House of Keys this week, Dr Michelle Haywood was asked how her department was making sure those with permits were periodically moving their vehicles by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
In her reply she said her department doesn't keep an eye on everybody but a car would be monitored if it's reported as not moving for an unreasonable period.
Dr Haywood says watching every vehicle would be too much work for traffic wardens:
