The Department of Infrastructure is appealing for information after two large batteries were stolen.
The department says they were taken from outside the entrance of the Douglas Rugby Club sometime between 8pm on Thursday (14th) and 7am the following day.
The batteries (and combination lock) were based in a large green salt bin at the base of the TT LED flag system.
The DOI says the batteries are very large and heavy, but are also vital for the flag system itself.
If anyone has seen any suspicious activity, or a car/van loitering in that area, you're asked to get in touch with either the DOI or Police.
