The Department of Infrastructure is issuing advice to those looking to import UK vehicles to the Island.
Officials say the DVLA in Britain will no longer give out export certificates to those looking to bring over a vehicle which hasn't got a full valid log book.
The department added to get the V5C log book from the seller as it won't issue any other documentation to allow for the vehicle to be registered elsewhere.
Those who require further information are being invited to contact the DOI.
