 
                            The Department of Infrastructure has rowed back on plans to charge Christmas shoppers for car parking on Douglas Promenade walkway.
After 3FM revealed the DOI was consulting on plans to introduce a pay and display car park from November 25, questions were raised in the House of Keys this week.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister asked Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer how much the car park will cost.
Mr Harmer said the Christmas car park on the Loch Promenade walkway would now be free:
