Animal lovers in the south of the Island can celebrate the arrival of 2020 with their pets this year, in a first for the Island.
An informal New Year's doggy dip is being held in Castletown from 11.30am on January 1.
The format follows that of the more traditional dips which will be taking place around the Isle of Man.
Organisers say pooches can join their humans by taking to the waters at Castletown beach's slipway.
