Firefighters were called out in Douglas yesterday to one of the most unusual incidents of the year.
It happened at around 2pm on Woodbourne Road in Douglas.
Fire crews from Douglas had to rescue a dog which had somehow got trapped on a rooftop.
The pooch was unhurt by its ordeal, and firefighters took it to a nearby vet to be cared for.
