Two dogs had a lucky escape last week after running away and getting trapped at a local quarry.
Daschunds 'Lulu' and 'Bebe' disappeared from owner Melanie Kermeen's farm on January 2, prompting a search party that went on until the early hours of the morning.
Six month old Lulu made her way back home around 5am, with dusty paws, leading Melanie and the family to a nearby quarry.
Bebe was then found stuck on a ledge above the water, and was ultimately rescued by retired Detective Chief Inspector Juan Kinley.
